Being a TAC Analyst entails ensuring infrastructure of the Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Services (MCEITS) environment remains stable. My team and I are responsible for the workflow of all ticketing in the MCEITS purview, as well as vendor recommended patching for all application servers. I work closely with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues within the various applications we support to regain functionality after any outages, major or minor, and serve as the manager of the incident such that government management can quickly and efficiently determine how to act upon inspection. All this to ensure the issue does not occur again or to gain additional means of troubleshooting for the future.
