Main duties included operating a Cat 3.5yd loader and Atlas Copco MT2010 20ton haul trucks. I would muck sumps out with a 1 or 2yd loader. Work as a nipper helping miners complete their rounds. Worked as a level nipper and supplied all stopes with all of the heavier to transport goods like pallets of spilt sets and dewey dags. I also worked as a fill in cager responsible for getting supplies into the mine through the shaft and then loading it with ore to ship to the mill. Any time an opportunity came up to learn a new job i jumped on it so that the mine could relay on me for more then just driving a truck. I would also fill in as a Cat 972h operator to muck pads off, fix roads, remove snow and haul waste.
