  Works directly with various State agencies including Department of Homeland Security, 911 Centers, U.S. Coast Guard, National Guard and several others. Work on a computer daily and am responsible for logging traffic accidents or any event that could impact travel throughout the state of West Virginia. Daily use of various Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Access as well as Google Sheets. Routinely update and maintain a list of roads closed throughout the state for the public. Resolve citizen complaints daily with patience and understanding when receiving negative feedback. Manage a large call volume from various state agencies as well as citizens. Monitor National Weather Service for possible impacts to traveling public. Show less
