Nov 2017 - Feb 2018
As an Engineering Project Manager my role grew from a more internal role to interfacing with clients more frequently and becoming the main point of contact for LISI Medical. This included managing interdisciplinary engineering teams between LISI and our cliental. Many of my roles from Associate Project remained the same during every stage of the project but grew to interfacing with customers for all stages of the project. My roles and responsibilities evolved to include: -Manage entire project from initial introduction to the floor to final delivery to customer to ensure project flows smoothly and efficiently.-Work with customers on any design changes and implementing them into manufacturing production travelers.-Provide design for manufacturing (DFM) analysis on new products to help streamline production for customer and generate cost savings for both parties.-Host status update meetings often weekly or daily to provide product launch timelines and provide feedback on any inquiries customer may have. I, along with three other colleagues, started a small company which specializes in custom/handmade hats. All aspects of the company; design, production, distribution, marketing, finance were handled in house. This endeavor has taught me the importance of leadership, adaptability, hard work and creativity each of which is extremely valuable in the business arena.
