  Product design, development and improvement, production assistance, and factory technical support to aid in the design and manufacturing of John Deere and Hitachi mid-size excavators.2013-2015:Lead Design Engineer for the highest volume excavator produced in the Kernersville factory, the John Deere 210G Final Tier 4. My responsibilities entailed initial design, development, testing, and project tracking/management from conception to start of production. Areas of major involvement include electrical harness routings, hydraulic and fuel routings, sheet metal design, and large weldment design. Our team resolved and implemented fixes for all issues that arose during the product verification and validation process. I performed durability inspections on test machines, learned to analyze FEA failures as well as field failures and implemented fixes for over stressed areas. I maintained documents to track the overall project status and delegated team resources to meet stringent vehicle deadlines and cost objectives while periodically presenting machine status to upper management.
