I have had the pleasure of working with Jacob both in Australia and during our time together in Germany. Jacob is a quiet achiever and posses many talents that has seen him rise up through the ranks of BMW Finance Limited. His ability to adapt to new situations is clearly evident having been successful in Australia, greater Asia Pacific and in central Europe. Jacob has the rare ability to connect with all walks of life has repeatedly overcome cultural barriers to form strong relationships with both customers and team members alike. Jacob is also one of the most authentic people I have worked with who is clearly passionate about his business deliverables but also cares about the people that report to him. In any office that I have visited where Jacob was leading a team, engagement and mutual respect are evident.

I worked with Jacob over the period of several years while he was Manager of Customer Retention at BMW Australia and I was Manager of Customer Retention at BMW Sydney. During this time, Jacob was leading the charge with developing and rolling out new marketing practices across the country which would eventually be extended from Australia to other global markets. For several years, I was helping Jacob to implement these new practices in the Sydney region. We worked extremely closely during this time and enjoyed successes on both micro and macro levels. Jacob's industry insights and personality were integral to these successes and I learnt a lot from him. I enjoyed a great working relationship with Jacob throughout our time together in Australia and we remained close contacts even after I left the BMW family. I am lucky to consider him something of a mentor and I look forward to working with again in some capacity.
