I started out in the company as a tour guide - involving giving tours up to two and a half hours to groups of around 120 people at a time. As a captain now, I navigate our 50 ton tour boats along the Dells of the Wisconsin river while helping to entertain the passengers. I learned a lot about responsibility and keeping things serious in times where they need to be: navigating a 60 foot long, 12 foot wide boat through a canyon that is 13 feet wide is one of these examples. Although there are plenty of times for fun a games, some situations require you to take things professionally and thoughtfully. Show less

Benchmark testing involving instrumenting all aspects of various systems, dynamometer testing to approximate component life and thermal capabilities, as well as brake system capabilities as it pertains to consumer recommendations were all regular projects that I worked from start to completion on during my internship. Trying to be as customer-focused as possible, I also enjoyed riding Polaris machines to get a better idea of how to make the best possible experience for the consumer. Show less

I was in charge of sales on the floor however, a place that I loved to be. Most of the times you could find me playing games with the customers too, an easy way to sell someone something I discovered. I also worked to develop the ecommerce site during the pandemic, something that took me well over 200 hours. My biggest takeaway from this job is how to juggle many things at once and how to keep people happy in the mean time. Show less
