Stephen Alexander
I had the pleasure of working with and mentoring Jacob for about five years during my tenure at The Haskell Company. I observed Jacob develop his skills and gain strength and confidence in his abilities. Jacob is strong technically and enjoys digging into the engineering details of systems and equipment. He is skilled at taking that technical information and presenting it such that non-technical leaders can follow and easily understand the pros/cons of options. Jacob communicates well, especially when placed in front of customers. As he gained experience, he began to focus on the junior engineers on his team and patiently spent time teaching and mentoring. Jacob is very dependable and consistently meets his commitments. I found that I could always trust him to complete work in such a manner that we could easily present it to our customers. His personable manner allows him to be successful building relationships both in the office and in the field (during installations and commissioning). His organizational skills have afforded him the opportunity to be highly successful in motivating his teams to execute system implementations. He has a very strong character and is driven to do the "right thing". He strives to learn and teach himself with each project challenge he is assigned. He is an asset to any technical organization and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
