  Professor of Clinical Instructions and Professor for Dental Public Health and Community Outreach Coordinator at the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. Dental Hygiene Professor of Clinical Instructions As a professor of clinical instructions, I fall under the supervision of the Dental Hygiene Program Director and work directly with the dental hygiene clinic coordinator, other clinical dental hygiene instructors and with dental hygiene interns during clinical rotations on campus. I am responsible for the dental hygiene clinical instruction in the areas of dental hygiene care process including clinical skills and evaluation of clinical procedures. In addition to these responsibilities, as a dental hygiene clinical instructor, I serve as mentor and role model for students and public relations with patients. On occasion, I will need to give direct patient care, such as removing a difficult area of calculus, as part of a teaching-learning situation. In general, public health focuses on the health of the population and is concerned with the health care of all.
