Editor in Chief
-
May 2021 - May 2022
As Editor in Chief of my high school newspaper, Lake Views, I was responsible for overseeing the newspaper's production, maintaining group cohesion, and promoting integrity and quality of student journalism, which led to the successful release of 6+ issues in the 2021-22 school year. I led meetings, the creation of schedules, and the delegation of all roles to staff members, including design, writing, and photography. I also created listings of page designs and the articles placed on them. As editor, I edited the second article drafts for all sections, as well as the first and second page drafts. On top of this, I still worked as a reporter, writing articles and designing pages in InDesign. Show less
