I am currently conducting research at the Department of Economics at Boston College under Professor Matthew Rutledge. So far, I have developed a valuable skillset applicable in the realm of economic research. To begin, I was responsible for carrying out a literature review of published academic papers associated with my topic of interest. This required the ability to consolidate information from a variety of sources and present useful findings to my professor. In addition, I built on my experience of investigating large quantities of raw data and evaluating the relevance of numerous variables. Lastly, organizing and analyzing the extracted data has taught me the importance of maintaining a keen attention to detail. I will be continuing my research throughout the academic year and look forward to all that I will learn along the way. I owe Professor Matthew Rutledge my thanks for taking me on and providing his expert insight during this learning experience.

During my time at WholeBody, I worked within a team of healthcare professionals providing high-quality service to patients and clients. My roles required both an interpersonal and analytical skill set. On one hand, I was periodically placed in sales roles, pitching newly-adopted services to prospective clients. Contrarily, I also took charge of the company’s transition to a paperless filing system, utilizing EHR software to organize and consolidate patient information. I will always be grateful for my time at WholeBody; it served as a valuable opportunity to develop my professional skills in an office setting.
