Awarded a Summer Scholarship to diagnose and improve performance of the Mechanical Engineering Dept's low noise wind tunnel. Involved a noise survey of the area around the tunnel; design, execute and present results for drag measurements of car roof rack cross bars, construction of a model of the pressure drop through the tunnel in order to recommend modifications to improve maximum air velocity.
