As a member of the Storage team with the IT Infrastructure department, my role involves monitoring and managing several EMC storage platforms, covering both SAN and NAS. My primary responsibilities were: Building and maintaining several Microsoft Mediaroom server environments. These were used to perform both internal testing and as a development environment for potential customer solutions. Developing applications to be used by Mediaroom operators. All of the applications that I developed went on to be used in production. Designing processes and tools for operator application deployment. These were designed to fit in with the operators' existing processes and toolsets to enable them to rapidly deploy new versions of software. Assisting the EMEA Mediaroom Solutions team with detailed technical investigations and testing.
