I work with a team of five colleagues to ensure that every Macmillan Information and Support Centre in Britain is working to implement the Macmillan Quality Information and Support Standards. I work closely with Macmillan Information and Support Centre Managers to provide guidance, support and advice around the Quality Standards framework. I offer one to one and group support as well as delivering webinar and face to face training sessions.

I managed the day to day running of the Macmillan Information and Support Centre (MISC) at Stafford hospital and ensured that the centre provided high quality information and support to people affected by cancer. I created and led the implementation of the first MISC led Electronic Holistic Needs Assessment (eHNA) pilot. Recruited, trained and managed volunteers to support the work of the centre and delivery of the eHNA pilot. Developed Look Good Feel Better workshops within Hoar Cross Hall Hotel and Spa, complementary therapy sessions and a choir for anyone affected by cancer. Show less
