Cost Control/Contract Administration
-
Apr 2011 - Present
Since 2011 I have been part of project management teams across several Queensland Councils. These teams were established to project manage restoration of roads, bridges and water infrastructure damaged across multiple disaster events. At North Burnett I was also part of the project management teams for Mundubbera and Gayndah Aerodrome upgrades. My roles initially involve establishment of project management, cost control and contract administration systems to interface with existing Council systems and meet the complex audit requirements of the Queensland Reconstruction Authority who are the approving body for restoration funding. Ongoing duties included preparation of EOI and tender documents, conforming contracts, checking contractor progress claims and variations, forecasting, monthly cost reporting and preparation of detailed Council progress claims for reimbursement of funds by State and Federal Government agencies.
