Currently I am the recordkeeper for the SL 12 - SS 482 - SH114 - SH183 project in Dallas County known as the Loop 12 Irving Interchange. This $301 Million project is constructed by Webber, LLC and will reconstruct and widen from dix lanes to eight lanes for 1.2 miles. It also includes widening of SH 114. The total length is about 9.6 miles including bridges and direct connectors. I hadn't considered coming out of retirement until meeting with the team at EST, Inc. We have the same philosophy of providing an excellent product utilizing the skills that each of us have developed during our career. I support the core values of EST to be honest, display integrity and enthusiasm while providing our communities enhanced safety, quality of life, and effective mobility using innovation and cost effective transportation strategies. The Team of EST is so diverse and together we provide total construction services and I enjoy working with them each day. Show less

During my 29 year career I was responsible for all phases of construction project management, recordkeeping, and auditing in the 9-county district. I worked in the bridge, traffic engineering and district construction offices managing special projects including: Local Government Programs, Safe Routes to School, Traffic Management Program, Traffic Light Synchronization Program, ARRA Program, Green Ribbon Projects, in addition to the Districts' on-going federally funded construction projects. During my career the Fort Worth district had at least 30 projects on-going at all times. The District Construction Office provided oversight and auditing of all projects. My experience in all types of projects is vast. As a leader in the local government programs I assisted in developing the Local Government Project Procedures (LGPP) manual and supporting training and certification classes which are still used today. I am very audit conscience in my program management skills and strive to use the Best Practice guidelines as my base standard of operating. Submitting complete and accurate project records and maintaining project schedules ensure projects complete on-time, on-budget and are audited and closed quickly. The skills I developed provided great opportunities to be part of some amazing projects including the West 7th Street Bridge. Completed in 2014 constructed by Sundt with a total cost of $$25,300,000 and Show less
