I’ve had the honor of working alongside and in support of Jack in his role as CEO of the West Suburban YMCA and have been continually impressed by his commitment to diversity, inclusion and continually placing community strengthening at the core of all he does. He’s identified, cultivated and continues to develop a dynamic and committed team - a true mark of a great leader- and is able to balance the operational, strategic, philanthropic, generative and visionary aspects of being a Y CEO with grace, impact and import.

Provide leadership, vision and strategic direction to a committed Board of Directors and talented teams of one of the regions largest charitable non-profit organizations. Ensure the immediate and long term needs of our community are met through safe, highly effective and affordable programs and services for all ages, genders, cultures, abilities and incomes. We engage individuals, members, alumni, corporations, foundations and institutions in supporting our YMCA work through philanthropy and volunteerism. With earned and contributed revenue in excess of $8 mm annually, and programmatic and capital fundraising our 145 year old organization continues to serve. We provide more than 12,000 members and participants services based out of a historic 85,000 square foot facility campus highlighted by a pre-school, two pools, racquetball/squash court, full fitness center services, gymnasium with indoor track, teen center, music and creative arts studio, outdoor synthetic track and multi-purpose artificial turf field. We will be opening a second facility in the fall of 2022 to serve more community members. The West Suburban YMCA offers two pristine off-site camping experiences. A 52 acre lake front traditional residential camp for boys and girls in East Brookfield, MA and a 22 acre day camp in Wayland, MA. Each camp allows us to provide a classic camp experience while helping youth build character and thrive at their own pace. The West Suburban YMCA is the catalyst that brings together local residents, members, public and private leaders and organizations who collaborate with the goal of strengthening the communities we serve. We focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Led the Waltham YMCA that offered services from a 16 acre campus and five off-site school locations where we delivered childcare and camp programs, health and wellness services, medical intervention and prevention programs. The $6mm branch grew over 30% in philanthropy, membership and program participation during my tenure in Waltham.Prior to leading the Waltham branch, I led the first universally accessible city branch of the YMCA of Greater Boston in the Oak Square section of Brighton. The branch is a leader in programs for children and adults of ALL abilities. We served 10,000 members and program participants annually. We secured over $1.5 mm in program support and capital contributions from individual donors, foundations and grants to support our growth and to build one of the first stand alone teen centers in the city.
