    • Head of Client Operations
      • May 2017 - Present

As a Client Manager at Kaboodle, I am responsible for the development of existing and new relationships, connecting key clients (including Victorious Festival, Hideout Festival and Standon Calling) with the internal team to ensure timely and successful delivery of the company’s solutions according to our client’s requirements. My role encompasses ensuring the delivery of our services, from initial consultation and set-up, through ongoing support during their sales period, to on-site support at the event itself. It also involves maintaining regular communication with the client via phone and email, as well as coordinating and leading regular face-to-face meetings as required. I'm also responsible for establishing timelines between teams and clients and ensuring deadlines are met. I work closely with the Engineering, Customer Operations and Senior Management teams where relevant to the demands and requirements of our clients, and work closely with the senior management team to tackle high severity issues or escalated requests. I am also responsible for streamlining internal processes and communication, and identifying areas within the business that require improvement.

As Senior Campaign Manager at the direct-to-fan platform PledgeMusic, I managed successful pre-order and crowdfunding campaigns for a number of artists, from smaller acts to established artists including the official pre-order store for a UK number 1 album with Robbie Williams, as well as campaigns with Will Young, Primal Scream, and The Divine Comedy. I've also worked as part of a team to manage campaigns for Pixies, Erasure, The Darkness, Ash, Idlewild, and others. This role involved working with the artist to conceptualise the campaign at the start, tailoring it to their specific goals, image and audience, advising on items and experiences to offer, including pricing and bundling, and on the use of content and how it's serviced to their fan base to drive the campaign. As part of this I regularly created and edited content and assets for campaigns, including video, audio and images. The role saw me work internally and externally on manufacturing and fulfilment solutions, stock management, customer service, PR and marketing, ticketing, sales and chart reporting, and overseeing these various aspects of a campaign from start to finish. It additionally involved regular and professional communication with various people and bodies, including labels and distributors, promoters and tour managers, press agencies, management, and the artists themselves. Through this role I quickly became a proficient user of the website’s bespoke back-end system, and I helped creative solutions to various logistical issues. During my time at PledgeMusic I worked as part of close, tight-knit team to great success.

Founding member of Cird's Court, a London based creative collective that showcases emerging musical and artistic talent. The main focus of the collective was to put on cheap gigs at cool venues to promote this talent; thus far we have organised three very successful nights at The Good Ship in Kilburn and The Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden (7th August 2011, 20th August 2012 and 27th December 2012) featuring up-and-coming bands and DJs of a variety of genres, as well as our own artwork for the stage’s backdrop. Accompanying this side of the collective, we have created and now run a blog featuring further projects. Beginning with honest, down-to-earth music journalism, we have expanded to recorded interviews, podcasts and most recently live radio shows. As we approach the date of the gigs, we also use this content as promotion (for example, interviewing the performing bands), as well as producing adverts and other promotional material.

I began my time at Sofar Sounds as the Video Content Assistant. Working with the Video Content Manager, I led various projects aimed at boosting the company’s YouTube presence. I implemented successful social media strategies to this end, for example boosting several videos from an average of less than 100 views in a lifetime to 1000 views in a day, and boosting the channel’s daily views from 2,586 to a peak of 5,823 over the course of a month. At Sofar I also: - Oversaw the transferral of Sofar’s video management to Diagonal View, an established YouTube aggregator. - Helped streamline the back-end processes involved in getting a video from capture, through production to public release. - Redesigned the appearance and layout of the organisation’s YouTube channel. - Was responsible for quality control and record keeping of our videos. - Worked with a wide variety of Sofar volunteers, artists, videographers and sound engineers to achieve the above goals. I then took on a position as Freelance Consultant. My duties in the position included training the new intern, managing relationships with Diagonal View, and advising the directors on the continued running of Sofar’s video department, as well as exploring other opportunities to expand their online presence.

    • Head of Music
      • Oct 2011 - Jun 2012

As one of two Heads of Music, my duties involved updating the station’s playlists and charts on a weekly basis, and maintaining regular contact with several local and national PR companies, as well as the SRA. We also ran the Music Team, who helped select new music, helped run the weekly Music Team show, which I presented for its first term, and conducted interviews which I helped arrange. As part of this position, I also organised for the station to host an instalment of the Student Radio Chart Show, for which I was executive producer. I directed the eleven-strong team and oversaw every aspect of production and airing. The show was a major success, receiving the station’s highest listener figures for the year and winning a Gold award for Best Student Radio Chart Show at the Student Radio Awards. Additionally, during my time at the station, I: - Underwent presenter and production training, later becoming a trainer myself. This entailed learning how to use Myriad, Cool Edit and the studio desk, as well as learning presenting techniques, on-air etiquette and Ofcom regulations. - Presented several of my own shows, for which I produced original idents, conducted several interviews and generated publicity via Facebook, Twitter, Mixcloud and internally through the station. - Helped set up and run several Outside Broadcasts and Open Mic nights for the station.
