    • Sustainability by Design Sponsored Studio with Eastman Chemical
      • Aug 2021 - Dec 2021

We partnered with Eastman Chemical representatives this term to help promote their new eco-friendly ultra high-clarity copolyester, Tritan™ Renew. Eastman asked our class to create designs that utilized Tritan Renew to its maximum potential, emphasizing the narrative they wanted to push about sustainability and how our designs and their materials together could make a substantial impact in a world continually harmed by plastic waste. • Design in Business Context with Prototypum
      • Jan 2021 - May 2021

This term we collaborated with the Czech brand Prototypum who specialize in product and industrial design solutions for clients such as Skoda or Nissan. I was briefed to design specific 3D printed objects that resolve the practicality and functionality of Prototypum’s workshop spaces. Their creative process involves 3D printers, but also classic hand tools and typical design prototyping workshop equipment. Our goal was to give this space a good sense of order in line with its use patterns and to create an overall image that will fit the brand and present it well on in media, most notably on Instagram images and videos. We also add the extra layer of thought so that the designed solutions can be printed and used by anyone else in their space. The project is well documented and focuses on meticulously executed models, prototypes, images and final designs. Show less

Instructed by longtime IBM Industrial Designers on IBM’s practices of user-centered design, user-experience design, and enterprise design to generate innovative luggage solutions for a user group we extensively individually researched. I worked on a with those who suffer from sleep apnea to make a custom travel bag allowing users to easily and comfortably wear and pack their CPAP machine while on a plane.
