At SLE, I worked on a project developing bendable OLED screens. Throughout this I planned experiments and carefully analysed the results to determine what the next steps of the project would be. Presented in company-wide meetings where I would show and discuss the work I had done, explaining why it was important, and answering any questions my colleagues would have about my work. Such discussions would then inspire new ideas on where to take the project Carefully planned what I wanted to get done on a day-by-day basis and managed my time effectively to make sure I met my goals, prioritising those that needed to be done sooner over those that were less urgent. Helped colleagues that were working on other projects, strengthening my work relationships and furthering my understanding of their work. After the professional placement, my supervisor stated in my placement report that I was performing research at the level of a PhD student, and that I had made many important contributions to the project.
