Business Advisory: Advisory, Strategy, Planning, Goal-Setting, Client Management, Accounting and Tax. "Building better business for a better life" I help business owners identify and achieve their personal and business goals, and I have an absolute blast doing so! Key Responsibilities: Strategic planning: presentation and facilitation of strategic planning sessions, assisting clients (and our own business) to set a clear direction and plan. Innovation of systems and processes: driving self-identified and proactive initiatives within our business. Often focussed on improving our processes through the implementation of tech solutions. Data manipulation and analysis: advanced excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, vlookup etc). Manipulating and analysing data to provide useful insights. Project, client and time management: managing 50+ client relationships, involving: compliance deadlines, ad-hoc project delivery, developing and executing a nurturing plan, presenting and communicating value, attending Board meetings, selling and business development. Leading teams: assisting my team members to achieve their personal goals. Communicate complex technical matters in easy to understand ways. Manage workflow and ensure timely delivery of projects. Develop and facilitate training sessions. Presentation & communication: whether it be a nurturing phone call, client AGM, Board meeting presentation, strategic planning session, written proposal or even an email/text,, communication is critical to client engagement and delivery of our service. (Presenting monthly to the Board of a $50 million Not-For-Profit has been challenging and exciting!) Produce and facilitate internal training workshops: recently I prepared and delivered a presentation on: ‘performing deep work’ and ‘how to find flow in the office’. Show less

PwC is Australia's leading professional services firm. As an Consultant in the Financial Assurance sector I was involved with the audits of an expansive variety of clients from multi-national oil and gas to local aged care. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engagements: perform planning and testing phases of the engagement. Work with managers to facilitate reviews. Develop pristine, detail-oriented deliverables for our clients. Reflect on projects, design improvements and assess budgets. Manage global teams: project managing with offshore teams (both service delivery centres and overseas branches) in order to complete global projects and optimise workflows. Data analysis: source data regarding the client’s industry, individual position and other internal/external, then analyse this data to provide insight to potential risks (i.e. retail industries are at higher risk of fraud/theft due to the high turnover of stock). Understand and evaluate internal controls (incl. IT controls): developing a detailed understanding of a process-chain, identifying weak spots and recommending improvements (i.e. ensuring banking platform requires dual authorisation). Allocate workflow and set budgets: review of prior engagement data, analyse and determine areas for greater efficiency. Then utilise our resourcing system (i.e. play tetris) to ensure appropriate team composition and timing of the job. Cross-selling: collaborating with all internal service-lines to identify opportunities to better provide value to our customers. Show less
