I was heavily involved in the following projects: Operation Herrick 11 - ‘Operation Gold Digger', Afghanistan, Lead geotechnical technician of a 5 man, high risk soil sampling team. This operation involved soil sampling Helmand Province. Advanced equipment was then used to adjust classified aviation sensors used in the detection of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's). Awarded the United States Army Commendation Medal, later awarded the Task Force Helmand Engineer in Chief Commendation.
