At Coventry University I am the Club Captain for the Tennis Club, this involves organising teams for upcoming matches and training, working alongside the University so better the club, this taught me how to communicate and manage people and my time efficiently. First Team Captain for 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2016/17 improved my leadership and management skills. Tennis has taught me how handle myself in a pressured situation as well as making me a more adaptable person. Steward
-
May 2014 - Aug 2014
Closing roads for the Manx Grand Prix and Isle of Man TT races. I was responsible for closing the roads safely and efficiently in order for racing to begin, and also to assist the team with running separate motorsport events off the track. The skills used were good time management as I had strict deadlines to meet, one being when racing would start, also being able to adapt to different situations such as delays due to bad weather or racing incidents, from stewarding during racing and to controlling traffic at the motorsport events. Working as a team in these situations was a necessity as lots of co-ordination was needed for the event to be successful.
