Key Outcomes: • Competing against 10,000 applicants, I successfully gained a 12 month industrial placement with Nestle working as a Sales & Marketing Trainee within the confectionery department in York. • Within 4 months, I was rewarded with promotion to Singles Operation Executive, which involved greater responsibility and participation in team decisions/actions, - this role helped me to further develop and broaden my product knowledge across all of Nestlé's key categories and enabled me to gain a real insight in to the role of sales within a large multinational corporation. • During my placement I was part of the award-winning EDGE project managing my own research, liaising with various divisions, formulating data and media reports and participating in group project meetings. Utilising excellent communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external staff aimed at enhancing the quality of customer ‘touch points’ In my time at Nestle helped to further build on my strong presentation skills to the point where I believe I am a confident and authoritative speaker. I have a passion for selling matched with good negotiation skills and am comfortable with communicating with people at all levels.
