Education Specialist/Trainer
-
May 2018 - Aug 2020
I was responsible for the initial hiring, training and development of all in-store artists and improving store sales results through education. This role required an equal split of focus between the teachings of artistry and makeup application and the customer service skills, brand knowledge, sales techniques and all other areas of client-to-retailer-based interactions. I contributed to artists’ achieving their targets through tailor-made one-to-one training, facilitating classroom-based education touch points and the subsequent follow-ups both in-store and at national events. Training programs, assets and forecasts were all created by myself in line with company strategy, new product releases and sales targets set by National Accounts Manager with whom I worked closely. I was also often called upon to travel to Europe to educate teams within many areas of Sephora Europe to ensure artistry standards are met, new collections are taught and PR/Press events are effectively covered.
