At Seton I work in a Key accounts management team that manage a reange of accounts to drive sales in the workplace safety industry. I work in a team within a team made of three that cover the south of the United Kingdom with my territory being London. My aim is to maintain strong working relationships and ensure smooth sales process for all of our accounts, not just the Key accounts and corporate accounts, when they are using Seton. Part of my role is increasing revenue and sales opportunites as well as being the person who organises quotations, pricing structures and any sales contracts put in place with our customers in my territory, as well as some larger accounts that are nationwide. I acted as the single point of contact for customers to address general inquiries, product and technical queries and resolve after sales issues. I provided knowledge and guidance to customers and addressed their needs and concerns individually to provide a service experience taoilored to each person. I primarily worked on vehicle recalls so spent much of my time liasing with dealerships to ensure that customers were always fully up to date with their cases. I was accountable for looking after companies in the United Kingdom anywhere north of Oxfordshire, including Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. I would deal with their queries, quotations, orders and projects via both phone and email correspondence. I spent a lot of my time ensuring that high levels of relationship and rapport was built with both our own internal departments and teams as well as our customers. A large part of my role was liaising with our technical team and regional sales managers to ensure that our customers needs were being met as well as ensuring that their data was being maintained and stored in our own systems for reference. My work at resource started as evening shifts during a busy Christmas period but quickly became full time. I worked as part of a team that recovered and recycled food waste in order to repurpose it for agricultural use. We spent a lot of time ensuring stock was kept in a tidy manner as well as dealing with delivery drivers, whether that be administrating paperwork or loading and unloading lorries using the forklift. I also had to make sure that machinery was safe for use before shifts started as well as signing them off after shift ends. Show less

I started off as a temporary staff member in the stockroom but shortly after starting was promoted to Operations Senior Sales/Sales Manager. I was given the sole responsibility of our stock room and any stock coming in or out as well as leading and training our delivery team. As well as this, I would spend much of my time on the shop floor serving customers when needed as well as dealing with any kinds of customer complaints or queries when asked to speak to management. I would deal with both store opening and store closing as well as cashing up and admin in the office to ensure that numbers were balanced at the end of each shift. Show less

My main role at Mah-Kee-Nac was a 24hr one. Caring for all children at the camp, specifically the 12 that were in my bunk. I was first point of contact for any issues raised and I was responsible for creating a safe, welcoming family environment for the summer period. We ran trips off campus and managed events on campus to ensure that the children had fun in a safe environment. My second, though just as large role was as a fitness instructor on campus. My "9-5" so to speak would be to instruct children of all ages at the camp in fitness routines in our gym. These would be both group sessions and sometimes individual plans if certain children wanted to reach specific goals for their chosen sports. Show less

Working behind a bar at a 4 star hotel meant I was the primary face and contact point for the majority of our customers. It was my duty to make sure that they received an outstanding level of service when staying with us and any questions or complaints were dealt with swiftly. I would be solely responsible for maintain the bar area and opening and closing it at the beginning and end of shifts as well as making sure that the tils were balanced, discrepancies were dealt with and any cash was banked at the end of each shift.
