Jack Clay is a fundamentally sound sales professional. He started at Rapid7 directly out of college and it was clear that he had an advanced foundation of sales methodology given his degree in Professional Sales. In the time that Jack reported to me before promoting up within the organization, he brought a lot of intrinsic skills that are difficult to be taught. Jack operates with grit and urgency. He is insatiably curious and he proactively seeks out feedback. As an Account Executive Jack built out a strong territory based on helping his customers when our offerings could solve for their projects/pain, but not forcing it when we couldn't. He has a strong operational command of his business and I am confident that he would be a welcomed addition to any organization he joins.

Jack and I worked very closely in his first full year in a closing role at Rapid7. He is tenaciously curious, self-motivated, and acutely aware of his own strengths and weaknesses. He regularly asked for feedback, which he acknowledged and implemented in his go-to market strategy. Above all, Jack has an excellent attitude and ability to build lasting relationships with his clients. He's merely scratched the surface of where he'll be in 5-10 years from now.
