Whilst at Admiral I was mainly a retention consultant and my role was primarily retaining custom through means of negotiation and customer reward during their renewal period. Another role i undertook whilst here was a 'Real Time Analyst' in the WFM (work force management) team at my office. Key responsibilities in this role were time management, employee rapport and interaction and delegating with senior members of staff in the form of conference calls. These would be key in planning the weeks ahead in terms of headcounts and call volumes. Responsibilities: - Maintaining customer retention for the company in the renewals department using customer discount and mostly negotiation with the customer. - Dealing with colleague holiday requests and time off on a day to day basis - Regular meetings with department managers and operations managers regarding the call centre answer rate - Managed a workforce of over 170 staff in the Newport, Cardiff and Swansea offices, ensuring schedules were adhered to and plans were coordinated efficiently - Maintaining a close working relationship with all members of staff Key achievements: - Achieved on average top 50 out of 500 in the ‘incentive league’ - Awarded CCR of the month various times - Contributed to training new starters through their training period Show less

Experiences: • I’ve had to apply a great deal of leadership in this position as when a supervisor is not on my shift then I take the senior position on the bar and maintain a high standard for the shift. • I have applied my creativity with this position by creating new cocktails for customers and to make changes to existing ones if the customer was not satisfied • Communication and confidence play a huge part in this role. As I am constantly interacting with customers and taking orders, it is essential that I pay attention to detail and confidently produce the finishing product for the customer. • Problem solving is crucial in this job, as when a big order of drinks come through it is essential that they are made in a specific order to save time, they must also be made perfectly to spec. Sometimes drinks are not available and ingredients have to be improvised. Using problem solving as a skill has guided me through these situations. Show less
