Some of our efforts include: -Collecting, managing, and recycling urban waste material to create a microbial rich compost, reducing the need for landfills. We use over five different techniques to make compost that allow us to create soils for different needs and environments. -Manufacturing soils (constructed with said compost) full of aerobic friendly micro-organisms that actively capture carbon dioxide from our atmosphere through carbon sequestration. Our soil is erosion and flood resistant; two natural disasters that are aided by poor human agriculture management and some of the biggest reasons for global warming. -Creative biomass harvesting that will put essential nutrients back into the ground and provide materials, such as bamboo, that will reduce the need for the use of plastics and other construction material that isn't biodegradable. -In the future our goal is to be 100% emission free, completely relying on electricity and solar energy to power our business model and machinery. -Creating new machinery to replace outdated models that will be less ecologically invasive. Before Covid-19, our company had over ten employees and was ranked #1 on TripAdvisor's Nightlife for Rio de Janeiro. Governmental restrictions have reduced the number of tours offered due to the impact of Covid-19, however, we are optimistic that business will be better than ever when vaccinations are available to the whole world.
