Co-led the start-up of the company as a publically listed alternative asset manager, including private equity, infrastructure and real estate. Co-led company strategic and corporate development, including 2 public fund raises totaling over $80mm. Co-led general investment activities of the Company, including staff development and management. Led origination, structuring, negotiation and post investment management of private equity and mezzanine debt transactions, typically negotiated, event driven transactions such as leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, expansion/growth and recapitalizations, in amounts ranging from $2M to $20M. Post investment management included strategic corporate and management development, governance and Board of Directors development. Private equity investments achieved annual rates of return in excess of approximately 25% per annum on vintage 2006-2008 investments.

Responsible for origination, structuring, negotiation and post investment management including strategic corporate and management development, governance and Board of Directors development. Led strategic and operational development of the mezzanine debt program, building a $350mm NA/Euro/UK portfolio. Responsible for general management of the total portfolio, including strategy and operations/staff development. Chaired group internal investment committee. During my tenure, portfolio grew from approximately $750mm to $4.5bn and realized returns were in excess of 25% p.a.
