Permanent Placement at Chin Lakes School Hutterite Colony grades 1-9 classroom. First hour of each day was spent with an early intervention program child (age 4) with a severe speech delay. Leading grades 4-6 in ESL lessons, spelling, phonics, novel studies, social studies, and science. Achievements -Goal for end of June was for early intervention child to be able to express 4-5 word sentences. I was able to help him exceeded this goal, the child progressed from Moderate/Severe delay to a Mild delay. Child was expressing near age appropriate sentence structure and comprehension. -Teacher was so impressed by my performance that she allowed me to construct a blended grade 4-6 social and science program, and perform independent novel study sessions. -I was also selected to tutor and supervise the grade 4-6 group in their provincial assessment tests. -Was praised by both teacher and district principle for my efforts and results with the children in formal review.
