Bio
DeAnne Dotson (she/her/Ms./ma'am)
Joshua interned with us in the summer of 2019 and was a delight to have with our organization. He was thoughtful, trustworthy, and willing to do anything that we asked. His ability to work with a variety of personalities and abilities came through every day. Everyone was please with his work product and his dedication to seeing every task through to completion. Even after his internship ended, he continued to volunteer (and recruit his friends to volunteer) at our events. I recommend Joshua, as he is eager to learn to things and wonderful to have around.
Lara Fountaine
I supervised Josh for the Fall 2019 semester as he worked as a Library Outreach and Programming Facilitator. In that role, he represented the Libraries at various outreach events as well as facilitated the Libraries Escape Room on a weekly basis. This required him to present to larger groups, communicate information effectively, and think creatively. The Escape Room can be particularly challenging to facilitate as it involves various pieces of technology in its puzzles and clues which oftentimes need troubleshooting before or during an experience. Josh handled these situations well and always had a positive attitude! I look forward to seeing him excel in his future career endeavors.
