TV & film production evolved out of Waterfall and always will have its elements. In Vision House I am responsible for implementing Agile and Scrum as long as it is valuable for the organisation. And believe me - it can be very valuable! I see my role as somewhere between a Scrum Master and an Agile Coach - but not fully meeting the definition of any of those responsibilities. "Translating" Scrum to tv/film production makes me constantly ask the "why?" questions about the methodology's philosophy - it can be difficult but it definitely keeps my motivation at a high level. We might be the first company in our industry in Poland who treat Agile so seriously. Keep your fingers crossed for us! Show less

My work as a freelance PM for entertainment industry combines "average" PM duties with some usually associated with soft HR. It has always been close to Agile mindset - as this is my preferred style of work.🏆 While working for Vision House (client: Polish Television) I had to leave the project in the middle because of a health issue. Why is it a success? Because the team I built and managed did deliver the product without any additional help! How Agile is that?🏆 While working for Voltaic System I helped the Board to create a more supportive feedback policy. Did it pay back? You bet it did!🏆 In the same company my innovative idea led to 50% boost of leads. My tasks throughout this period included:Leading the protagonists casting processes for TV shows end-to-end,Requirements analysis, evaluation, prioritization to deliver an audiovisual content with specific TV format(840 000 viewers) and to delegate tasks effectively,Backlog management, defining projects roadmaps, milestones, scopes and deadlines while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value,Hiring teams of researchers and managing their work, including a passive-protagonists research,Removing impediments and guiding the team to remove those,Expectations management, stakeholders management, collecting feedback andEmployer branding,Building supportive feedback culture,"Implementing" (living!) Agile HRCompanies/clients I worked for: Vision House, Earl Grey, Film Planet, TVN,TVN Style, TVP Dokument, TVP 2 Show less

A real leader creates leaders, not followers...How to create leaders in groups with extremely low trust level? This was main question I had to answer while preparing and leading workshops for teenagers in educational centres. The scale may be different, but the problems those kids are facing in everyday human interactions are not that different from any other person's experience. I really learned a lot - and hope my students got something for them too! A real leader creates leaders, not followers...How to create leaders in groups with extremely low trust level?
