      My role involved creating an inclusive environment for children and young people (aged 7-25) to express themselves creatively and fulfil their potential using music as a means to build confidence and self-esteem. Many of the young people we worked with were isolated, Looked After, living in precarious situations and under normal circumstances would not engage in arts based youth programmes. As the project coordinator for the year long Xpressions project, I managed a budget, built a recording studio, delivered weekly music/ recording sessions and recruited and deployed freelance artists and practitioners based on young peoples creative ambitions.
