  My task scopes as a data scientist intern included visualizing as well as analysing various data from different fields such as e-commerce, ministries, and multimedia. During the internship, I primarily got to improve my Python programming language skill to handle and manipulate data. Not only that, I also learnt how to filter the data to export it into a visualization platform such as Flourish or Tableau, and then generating the visuals based on the project charter or framework given, that served as the requests from the data analyst. The internship was an ideal opportunity for me to apply some of the knowledge that I have learnt through my degree subjects, specifically statistics, Python coding and computer intelligence, plus my final year project (FYP). My final year project is about machine learning-based prediction for in-hospital mortality with acute myocardial infarction (AMI), or commonly known as a heart attack. I was awarded as the third best presenter for my FYP presentation during the UM Biosymposium 2022 event. Show less
