Since getting to know Izi through a mentoring programme a couple of years ago, I've been immensely impressed with her drive, determination and capabilities. She is passionate about what she does and adds enormous value to whatever organisation she is working for. She has a quick brain and takes a strategic and creative approach to every challenge. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for support, creativity and tangible results in their sustainability communications and campaigns.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Izi as a peer on the sabbatical officer team at Falmouth & Exeter SU and on the trustee board for SHRUB. Izi is insightful, articulate and analytical, and as a result, she is often the first person I go to when seeking a second opinion. She maintains the highest standards of professionalism, whilst being an approachable and supportive team-member. Constantly going above and beyond, she is an asset to any organisation, and her commitment to sustainability is inspiring.

Sustainability Consultant Intern
-
Jul 2017 - Aug 2017
Three week internship with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of cling film, aluminium foil and baking parchment. • I independently planned a sustainability program to improve waste management in the company and carried out a cost-benefit-analysis of several recycling options for different waste materials within the company. • I compiled these findings into a detailed written report, which I synthesised in a presentation to the Managing Director and other key members of the company. • I also found ways to link the company with local Non-Profit Organisations, including The Children’s Scrapstore, that deal with sustainable waste management, in order to promote the strong connection between environmental and social sustainability. • Following my guidance I worked with the Managing Director to develop a series of action points, which included the immediate implementation of a new cardboard recycling system in the factory.
