On this page I share my own, personal, subjective reviews of the concerts, festivals and other events that I attend. The purpose is to give an insight to those interested in these events by writing about them and also by creating (filming and editing) short after movies. Teaching English online (previously via Skype, on the company's own platform atm) to Japanese students of all ages. From children, to young ones passioned about traveling, to business persons that need English at their workplace, to older people who learn English as a pastime activity. Requires patience and understanding of the student's needs and purpose, and the ability to adapt the lesson flow depending on the student level. Mainly explaining in English, but also using Japanese if necessary for additional explanations (especially when it comes to grammar). Show less

I was an Eco Promoter during the Electric Castle festival, going around the festival ground telling people about the festival's #zerowaste mission and encouraging them to throw the garbage selectively, while asking each participant to contribute to making an eco-story by writing a sentence on our board. Since I am passionate about Japan and Japanese culture & cuisine, I wanted to learn more about the art of making sushi. Having made sushi at home previously, with friends, I already had some "know how" when I started the job, but I learnt something new everyday. I was in charge of preparing the rice (washing, boiling and seasoning), preparing the vegetables and other necessary ingredients (cutting cucumbers, for example), sometimes shopping and, of course, making sushi and serving it to the clients (as the restaurant is a running sushi bar, the clients can see inside the kitchen and get a glimpse of how their food is prepared in real time, and they can also interact directly with the staff from the kitchen).
