  I created detailed profiles on California Legislators for meetings with the Consulate and researched bills in the Legislature that can affect the US and Mexico relationship. I also performed clerical and administrative duties such as data entry, translating documents in English and Spanish, and calling offices of California Legislatures for information.

  I tutored and mentored 30+ first-generation college-bound students between 5th and 12th grade each week. I facilitated tutorials on a variety of academic subjects, conducted presentations on diverse topics to encourage students in their academic and personal interests, monitored students on their academic progress and advise them on efficient studying strategies, and completed Student Contact Sheets every week to summarize interactions with students.
