As part of a small close-knit team Iwar performed many different engineering tasks. Most notable efforts include the prestigious Gautrain rapid railway project in Johannesburg SA for which Iwar was left on his own to design and develop passenger information systems for use on ASL's proprietary public address system. The first phase of Africa's first high speed railway was completed in time for the FIFA 2010 world cup finals.
