Nach UN-Angaben lebten vor nur 20 Jahren etwa 5 Milliarden Menschen auf der Welt. Derzeit hat die Welt fast 8 Milliarden Einwohner. Darüber hinaus wird geschätzt, dass im Jahr 2050 mehr als 70 % der Bevölkerung in Städten leben werden, was zu einem Anstieg des Energieverbrauchs, der Umweltverschmutzung, des Wasserbedarfs usw. führt. Aus diesem Grund setzen immer mehr Städte darauf, eine SMART CITY zu sein. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich vor knapp über zwei Jahren entschieden, den Weg zu gehen, der in die Zukunft führt und aus meiner Sicht gehört diese Zukunft den Smart Cities. Ich leite Projekte von Smart Parking, Smart Water, Smart Waste, Smart Lighting ... in verschiedenen deutschen Städten. Es gibt nichts, was mich mehr motiviert, als meinen Beitrag zur Nachhaltigkeit zu leisten und eine bessere Welt für zukünftige Generationen zu schaffen. GO FOR GREEN EVS Project

From 2015 to 2016 EVS Project Go for Green FCASEC, Ramnicu Valcea (Romania). GO FOR GREEN was a project proposed for an EVS stage of 12 months between 4/10/2015 to 4/10/2016 in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania. We are a group of 6 members from Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Turkey. The specific objectives of the Project were: Promoting ecological education and activies to protect the enviroment in the local communities; increasing the mobilities among the Young people with fewer opportunities by the direct involvement in the Project activities; promoting non-formal education among the Young people, mainly ypung people from Rroma community; developing entrepreneurial competences among the participants of the Project; contributing and developing capabilities and skills in youth work using creative methods. The main activities of the Project were: Iniciating environmental education workshops in schools; greening activities in Cozia National Park and Capela Hill in Ramnicu Valcea; implementing a media campaign about environmental protection; working and supporting the rangers of Cozia National Park.
