  As a part of the shared plarform DevOps Automation Team, I am responsible for the infrastructure, running on top of AWS multi-region. Our teamwork to manage core services, improve automation, and help on the architecture design side. I had a chance to belong a team to provide a solution for Kubernetes automation project through terraform, helm, EKS, Istio and Kiali with these goals: • Definition of a common operational model for Kubernetes • Design of CI/CD automation processes to deliver apps in Kubernetes at scale • Definition of a stack of key technologies around Kubernetes Also, our team embraced the automated application of Terraform via Jenkins Pipelines directly from Git repositories, using a shared library developed in Groovy. Our goals here were: • Ability to completely rebuild infrastructure based on known good source code • Ability to re-use Terraform code between environments and regions • Complete isolation and separation of environments • Allow development teams to contribute to infrastructure code, to their comfort level Show less
