Ivana and I were colleagues at Amazon. We did not work together every day...but what I remember about her is how she cared about PEOPLE. How she would get adamant, opinionated and really loud (in the best way:-) - when she CARED. She cared mostly about people and how we at Amazon treated them - whether that was candidates or employees or her directs. She wanted people to have a chance, be treated right and with kindness. Operation: In the field of IT Procurement, I worked closely with my team to deliver the desired IT equipments (for 29 countries) for the best possible price and in the fastest time. I worked closely with 3rd party vendors.I was responsible for delivering the main KPIs (SLAs, time to deliver, customer satisfaction). Talent management: I led a team of amazing professionals (6-8 people).I coached and mentored them in regards to their day to day duties, KPIs and development. I ensured that 1 on 1s are in place alongside with the development session and clear goals.I managed to promote 3 people in the span of 1.5 year. I prepared a development scheme, scheduled and created trainings (Meeting etiquette, Writing at Amazon, Difficult conversations, How to give feedback, How to handle Stress, How to create happy memories). On top of my duties I was a Bar raiser and I helped teams outside of my own org to made the best hiring decisions possible (I participated in the interview loops and I led debriefs). Show less

My job was to mentor and coach the team members and to ensure that we deliver the quality, our main KPIs, that processes are in place.Thanks to my creative thinking I spent 3 months in Ireland where I worked on creating positive relationships between our two countries and managed a team of 12 people.
