The Consent Project is an intersectional co-creative student-led initiative by PPE students, aimed at promoting awareness on matters of consent and sexual violence. Acknowledging the importance of the problem in the lives of many, our goal is to initiate an open and honest conversation on consent and contribute to an empowering culture for all. We intend to tackle consent through three main pillars: education, support, and institutions. As an External Relation Coordinator, I am in charge of connecting the Consent Project to the outside world. My tasks consist primarily of: - meeting the PPE board and the professors, but also other collectives and organizations; - taking care of finances and formal correspondence; - organizing stimulating joint projects with other organizations. As a News Reporter intern at Darik Radio, I further developed my journalistic skills by being provided with the freedom to take up tasks of my interests. As an assistant to the radio editors, I was in charge of helping with the schedule of the shows, contacting the guests of the radio program, and formulating questions to ask them. I also went live, recorded protestors' opinions on related topics, took photos for the website and streamed live on the FaceBook page of the radio from the epicentre of the anti-government protests, which occurred that summer in Sofia.
