  I was brought in to the Symons Group of Companies to enhance the competencies of trainees by designing and conducting training programmes to boost individual performance while promoting the company's core values.After a quick fire couple of months I was also made responsible for managing health, safety the environment and also maintaining our ISO9001:2015 accreditation.As the business grew, so did my role which expanded to recruitment of new staff and a bit of HR as well.Some highlights to date at Symons Group:* Designing and implementing a standardised remuneration matrix for all drivers.* Designing and implementing a driver bonus system to encourage care and accountability of equipment.* Identifying and work-shopping Critical Risks across the business.* Leading HSEQ through the challenges of COVID-19.* Transitioning the business from ISO 9001:2008 to 2015.
