I had the honor and pleasure to work with Ivan when I arrived in Hong Kong to work in the corporate aviation area safety/quality programs for the same company. Having come from the commercial airline field, Ivan, at the time the Manager of Flight Training, was fundamental in helping me understand the environment and challenges of corporate aviation. A passionate aviator with a true love for training and safety aligned with an extensive technical knowledge, makes Ivan a valuable asset to any company or endeavour he joins. Along with great flying skills his management skills are enriched by unquestionable ethics and moral references. I consider him a true friend and one of the great role models that I encountered in my corporate journey. All the best and success my friend.

An accomplished Leader, a passionate Aviator and mentor, an ultimate PRO! Many additional qualities can be bestowed upon Captain Ivan Luciani in the exercise of his aviation career spanning four decades. I met Ivan seven years ago when I inherited his previous function as chief Training Captain of a large Asian based corporate aviation management company. Soft spoken and attentive conversationalist with sharp mind and wit, Ivan is the personalisation of a Gentleman. A published author of two, easy to read, books on his personal aviation journey (An Aviator’s Journey) and operational notes (Journey Around The World), both available on Amazon; Ivan is also a meticulous student who does not take anything for granted and is able to constantly re-invente himself by his insatiable thirst of knowledge. Through years of interactions, I am proud to call Ivan a personal friend. I cherish our encounters for the selfish pleasure of picking his brain on operational matters, but also for the effortless enjoyment of his company.
