In my time with this amazing tech startup, I have seen both myself and it grow a huge amount. When I started I had no idea what a strartup environment feels like but heard the rumours and I can proudly say most were true. There is a lot of hard work involved, sometimes you need to put in that extra little bit on a Saturday but it is always worth it. Throughout this intense couple of years I have: - developed internal and external use tools using C# and Java; - fixed and scripted Scala and Python code. - helped consolidate the build infrastructure of our product and have written bash scripts to automate setting up VMs to fit the needs of clients and developers; - liaisoned with our biggest client and have lead the initiative to cater our product to suit their needs and fix any issues they found; - managed to bring in 3 other amazing software engineers in order to grow our team and accelerate delivery. • The A/B testing service that the company was using was an API which only a small group of people had the knowledge and permission to operate.
