  My main task is to develop and streamline the Compliance calculations process at MetsäBoard’s Product safety and sustainability team. This process has a key role in ensuring food contact material compliance and safety of MetsäBoard paperboards, together with third party laboratory testing. I have introduced new process automation steps into the calculation process with Power BI. In addition to this, I have taken part in the daily correspondence through the team’s functional mailbox and answered many product safety related questions. My job is also to send supplier questionnaires trough PUMA portal to chemical suppliers, where we enquired information about chemicals compliance status. This is called raw material compliance.

  My main duty was to update the SUMAKE-report, which was about hazardous chemicals imported and produced in Finland. I utilized Microsoft Power BI queries to visualize chemical data from national chemicals register (Kemikaalituoterekisteri). Addeldy, I developed a time-line tool to ease project management with Power BI, and a PDF text mining tool with KNIME. The latter one I used in a market surveillance project of unauthorized biocidal products. I am also familiar with the national market surveillance register (Marek) and the European wide register (ICSMS). I also did participite in an internal Tukes audit as an auditor, and I was a member of the Tukes Strategic Team (PaMu - Palvelut ja muutoskyky).

  I was attached to the Information and Development unit, where I was fully employed by the Kemidigi Project. My main duty was to create specifications for incorporation of biocides and plant protection products registers to the Kemidigi.
