  Here am responsible for;  Identify, mobilise and sensitise relevant district, area and community based authorities and leaders about the project  Identification, verification and recruitment of the project beneficiaries according to the project’s selection criteria or target group.  Coordinate programme implementation – liaise with and advise the partner organisations on organizational development and implementation of work plans and monitoring to meet expected outputs and outcomes.  Strengthen collaboration with partners, relevant Government institutions, NGOs to ensure good communication and create good environment to effectively operate programmes.  Developing and evaluating existing programs, and determining the expansion or introduction of new services and programs.  Facilitate partner review meetings quarterly.  Ensure that all programme activities are appropriately documented and that all summaries of meetings, workshops and trainings are shared with the Partner organizations.  Ensuring the project objectives and activities are clearly understood and achieved in a cost effective and timely manner.  Support in setting up and operationalizing robust community based complaints and feedback mechanisms to ensure accountability to affected communities. Ensuring that there is a system for responding back to affected communities on time and on regular basis and that, the issues from communities’ shape programming  Provide overall guidance and technical inputs into the UP project’s promotion of women’s empowerment and gender equality in decision-making processes at household, group and community levels, strategies to tackle gender-based violence, and ensuring protection considerations are addressed.  Conduct regular field visits to monitor processes and outputs ensuring that all opportunities for gender equality, women’s empowerment, and protection are being taken forward.   My duties were; a) Facilitating the elimination of child labour in tobacco farms under the ARISE (Achieving Reduction of Child Labour in Support of Education) program. b) Visit every assigned JTI contracted grower a minimum of once every Visitation Plan cycle to provide extension service and monitor the crop throughout the crop cycle. c) Ensure that all tobacco growers produce and sell to JTI within the expectations of the Agriculture Labour Practices (ALP) code. d) Participate in accurate and timely data collection as required using various systems Oversee input requesting, 100% reconciliation, and distribution to growers. e) Facilitate and oversee the movement of baled tobacco from the farm gate to the sales floor ensuring 100% accountability and ownership f) Implement the key strategic initiative of Live Barn and Bamboo programs within the functional area ensuring delivery of agreed targeted numbers and its implementation. g) Ensure a safety culture is developed within the assigned area of responsibility by participating in safety initiatives, enforcing the correct usage of equipment and conducting safety dialogues.
