As a Senior Aquaculture Technician, I was responsible for leading our team of technicians in the day-to-day husbandry of White legged shrimp (L. vannamei). I was routinely responsible for daily water quality testing utilizing chemical procedures and handheld meters. I regularly utilized Microsoft office and a proprietary data base for growth and population reporting. Delegated tasks regarding life support and facility maintenance of a recirculating aquaculture system, such as air supply adjustments, feed preparation, and water flow.

Worked with endangered Puerto Rican Crested Toads and their Species survival plan. Interns committed to a minimum of 320 hours over a 16-week period, and an extension was granted after 16 weeks.
