  • Served as OIC GoS/Movement Police Advisory Unit MHQ El-Fasher and acting R&R Coordinator in UNAMID and supervised peace Keepers from different countries • Liaised with GoS and UNAMID civil and military components resulting in enhanced sharing of information and coordinated actions which helped to provide security to the IDPs, carry out DDR, reform and restructure activities in war torn Darfur region of Sudan. • Carried out Training Need Assessment (TNA) of GoS police and surveyed their physical infrastructure. Prepared a report and submitted to the R&R Coordinator who in turn shared it with UNAMID authorities. This served as a basic document on the basis of which the capacity building programmes of GoS police were carried out. • Established close coordination between UNAMID and Government of Sudan (GoS) in Darfur through meetings of the UNAMID leadership and International Delegations to the GoS and Movements Leadership that helped the establishment of security committees, the collocation offices, joint operation centres, physical assessment of the GoS police infrastructure, joint Anti Car lifting, construction of new Team Sites.
